Our services at a glance

  • Personal Care -  Our staff will assist you in all your personal care needs including washing, dressing, bathing, showering, help with getting up in the morning and assisting you with the requierments for the day ahead.
  • We offer assistance in to bed and making sure you are comfortable and safe for the night ahead.


  • Medication -  Our staff will ensure that medication is taken at the correct time, the correct dose and the correct way.


  • Safety Check -  Our staff will pop in to ensure that you are safe and well and you have evertyhting you need for the day or night ahead.


  • Meal Preparation - Our staff can assist with meal preparation from a light snack to a freshly prepared meal, taking into account individual dietary needs.


  • Shopping service - Our staff can take you to the shops or they can collect your shopping on your behalf and if needed assist you to put the items away.


  • Domestic service - Our staff can assist you with you domestic chores such as vacuuming, bed making/changing, laundry and ironing.


  • Appointments - Our staff can accompany you to appointments and stay with you and take you safely back home, they also accompany you to persue your goals/aspirations such as leisure activities or support you to use public transport, or just simply visiting friends and relatives.


  • Respite Care - Our staff can look after your loved one whilst you go to work or persue your own leisure/social activities.


  • Telephone reminders/checks - We offer a service for a minimum charge period where we will phone you/or your relative to remind you to complete certain tasks or attend appointments, IE medication reminders, check that you are alright whilst a relative is away, or remind you that you have an appointment.

We will provide an initial telephone consultation and if we are able to provide the support that you require, we will carry out a full assessment in your home and write up a personalised support plan with you free of charge. 

Complaints/comments and Compliments 

We operate a feedback procedure by which you or someone acting on your behalf can make a complaint, comment or compliment in relation to the service. We welcome any views that may help us to continue to improve the service we provide.

Feedback can be given personally or an advocate can be appointed. Feedback can be given via your carer, letter, e-mail or telephone call to the office. 

Making a complaint will not cause any discrimination or have a negative effect on service provision. 


Your local Social Services Dept can help you in many ways such as assisting you to deal with a complaint on your behalf or putting you in touch with Local Advocacy Services who could assist you with decision making. Lancashire County Council Social Services Department can be contacted on 0845 053 0009.
