When I brought my mother to live in Lytham after several serious operations including a leg amputation, I wouldn’t have believed her quality of life would be as full as it is today.

Margaret takes my mother on shopping trips including trips to Preston and Boundary Mill, they go to the cinema and have even been on the train to Manchester with the excellent assistance of the rail company helping with ramps for her wheelchair.

All these activities have given her such a positive outlook on life after so many traumatic setbacks and it means so much to me as her main carer to know she is in safe hands. It has allowed me to have breaks with the knowledge she is being well looked after.

After such serious illness I never thought my mum would regain such confidence and this is thanks in no small part to the great help of Margaret’s patient caring qualities.

As a family, we cannot thank ARC and Margaret enough for all their help.

Trisha

Dear everyone at ARC I would like to thank most sincerely all the carers who came to help us over the years.
Everyone was so friendly, kind and positive and a great source of support and comfort to me

No further issues, but one big accolade. The accolade is really to Margaret Tinker and Susan Dagger both who instil confidence with Caroline and also my Father and myself. My Father does not receive care but gets comfort from the support the carers give to Caroline.
Both Margaret and Susan are professional, mature, trustworthy, confident and pleasurable to have within our home. They understand and appreciate dementia very well, and have the absolute right approach to get the best out of Caroline and therefore provide excellent care. I am sure you appreciate it is a difficult time mainly for Caroline, but also my Father and myself. The care provided makes this difficult and very sad time in all our lives a little easier to deal with.

Please thank them and recognise them for their very important contributions.

We would be delighted to send a letter for your newsletter recognising their contribution, or would be more than happy for you to publicise our comments above.

Assessment

What a great assessment the last company that we had was only here 10 minutes to do the assessment.

Jackie did a thoroughly good job, she went through everything, even made sure that we the family could make it and the appointment went around us and not the company. I will be recommending this company that's for sure.
