How will i be invoiced?
You can either be invoiced on a four weekly basis or arrange to pay by standing order. If your service has been arranged through Social Services, please contact them regarding any financial contributions.
When will the service start?
We generally require around a weeks notice to set up services and when you contact us to set up a service we will arrange for one of our senior staff to come to see you to carry out an assessment visit before services commence.
How will i identify the support worker?
All support workers wear uniforms with 'ARC Community Care Ltd' on the breast pocket. They are also issued with identity badges that contain their names and photo.
Should anyone present themselves as a support workers not conforming to the above then we advise that you refuse antry to them and contact the office immediately.
How will they gain access to my property?
To ensure the safety and security of your property, the support worker will gain entry as agreed with you. For security reasons we ask you not to leave keys under flower pots or your door open. Key safes may be available via Social Services or can be purchased from us. On leaving, the support worker, where appropriate will lock doors and return keys to the keysafe.
How will my service be monitored?
We operate a telephone logging system. On arriving and leaving, the support worker will use your phone to call a computer which records the duration of the visit. You will not be charged for this call. There may be occasions when the support worker will ask you to sign a log sheet, i.e. If the phone is in use at time of arrival/departure or if the planned visit duration is not required.
Who regulates us?
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. Inspections are carried out annually, as part of the process, you or your family may be contacted. An inspector may request your consent to visit you, in order to gain your views on the services provided. The information is then used for future planning and improvement of the service.
What if my needs change?
Your support plan and your total package of care will be formally reviewed after 4 weeks and at least annually by one of our senior staff. If you have any problems concerning the services provided, please do not hesitate to contact the office whereone of our senior staff will review your care package with you.
What if my partner needs a service?
They would require an individual assessment and an individual care package would be arranged.
