BACKGROUND
Hello. I am Jackie. I have been the Supervisor here at ARC Community Care ltd since February 2009.
I have four years experience in the domiciliary care industry and have found each day rewarding.
Before joining ARC, I acted as senior support worker, teaching horse care to students with mental health and learning disabilities and also as a therapy tutor, facilitating Equine Learning in Blackburn.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITHIN THE COMPANY
To monitor staff visits and make checks that staff are working to company standards.
Complete service user assessments and prepare a full support plan for staff to follow.
To audit visit diary sheets.
To assist with training new staff in the form of shadowing and holding training sessions and ensuring that all staff know the company standards, and understand all polices and procedures.
To liaise with G.P.s, social workers and other professional bodies.
Deal with complaints.
To deal promptly with any risk assessment issues / accidents / incidents. To assist with staff supervisions and spot checks. Act as on call officer out of hours.
To assist in the day-to-day running and changing needs of the company To assist with policies and procedures online with CQC.
